Mod Launcher update/rewrite

Hi.

Let's start that Mod Launcher is a good and useful tool.
Unfortunately it's a bit outdated in terms of settings. Not all command line parameters are listed in the settings menu. Also it cannot be moved or re-sized.
Feature that should be there is auto-updater. If new patch is released everyone will get notification about it and ability to download it. This will eliminate protocol version issues (if anyone is still playing this game in multiplayer).
Another feature would be mod-downloader that will download and unpack selected mod into proper directory and notify about new mod versions. But that will require some work, like $ushiWIR's Mod List to keep it up-to-date.

Therefore question arise. Is such tool desired or it's a bad idea?
Should we bother Stucuk with it or should we wrote it on our own?

I can offer an open source tool creation in Java or C# (Unfortunately i have no experience in Delphi) in this area if such tool is desired and Stucuk won't be interested to upgrade Mod Luncher in such manner.

Dude, auto-updater is already implemented into Steam. Now everybody uses the Steam version.

Well if you really think that everyone uses steam - then you are really wrong. Every distribution channel have it own users. I had my own OW cd's like 10 years ago and i'm still using it.

I also don't use steam version. I have my OW cd's from a gaming magazine.
