I would rather play sth like MOBA but with customizable vehicles instead of champions. Player skills would depend on vehicle components and infantry or drones could act as creep. In fact drones would be better for that role, Infantry could act as sth that IFV's and APC's could spawn at player's command.
Just loose ideas.
