GMZ files

Hello guys,
I am working on my own game with OW theme, so i want to use some graphics from original OW game, but there is a little problem. I am using GM View to extract images, then printscreen and save them to PNG (with little modifications like alpha channel) and then finally i can use them i my game... anoying work (especially if i would like to make sprites)
. SO... is there anybody who knows format of GMZ files and could tell me? It would be much easier to make program or script which can do all dirty job for me, or even use gmz files in my game.
