I am not exactly sure which version in the 1.12 range caused Increased Sync Lost. I only know that 1.12.10.15 was meant to fix it (And as far as i was told solved the problems with Increased Sync Loss).

Probably in the 1.12.8 % of sync lost is increased - look at this

When a client recieves a tick from the future (As in its missing ticks due to either packet loss or because packets are sent in the wrong order) it asks the server for all the ticks between when it last recieved a tick and the servers current tick. Build 31 will pause the game if the amount of ticks requested is higher than a customizable value.

eset.ini has a new parameter called Server_AskTicksLimit. I would recommend starting at -1 and working up (It only effects the person who is acting as the server).

Note: Build 31 and higher will not work with lower versions as the Multiplayer Protocol Version was increased. Also note that as i currently have no way of f**ing a packet loss i havn't been able to test it.

On some maps Sync lost still appears but this is caused by bad SAIL coding on this maps (Wasteland,Abyss). It is qutie easy to fix it - Sierpek has fixed Wasteland 1001 Night mode.

Alien Base and Flags work perfect ;)

It doesn't "Fix" the problem. All it does is pause the game when it detects packet loss. Which then allows clients to catch up.

There still can be a bug in the engine which is increasing the chance of sync loss.

Like Gelwe said, Sync Lost can be caused by maps SAIL. Sync Lost happens because one persons PC does something different to the others.

For example only the MultiRand() function is safe, all other random functions should not be used in multiplayer maps.

Sierpek had fixed the sync error on Wasteland (1001 night) in his mod, and he said that he can try to fix rest of the "broken" maps.

But the most important thing : Alien Base and Flags are fully safe to play

Does it work for example when game completly freezes (when only minimap works)? I mean if it can catch up game and pause it before it freezes.
