Subcampaign 2 - plot for missions 5-8

W takim przypadku to byłoby chyba dobre miejsce do wprowadzenia jakoś poduszkowców.

ENG
This topic is meant to consider introducing the actual attack on Lenin base into the campaign. Each mission can be discussed separately after this whole segment of the campaign.

Altar's notes say only that the Arabs are meant to fight more and develop technologies. The important part is mission 8 where she defends a base, gets captured and escapes in 09. The missions look like this at the moment:
  • 05: Takes part in attack on Russians as in the beginning of Russian campaign. Flame thrower is introduced.

That in itself is alright, but the whole mission has little importance. There's biggest potential for change here. Could be used to introduce hovercrafts somehow.
  • 06: Heike is sent on a rescue mission and later hunts retreating Russians, a bit like in Ru04. More tech and siberite is introduced. During this time the Arabians tame the first tigers, thought the player doesn't take part in that (07 intro).

The optic scientist and his technologies should stay. They are analogical to other campaigns, and the character itself is also important. Could change the mission structure a bit, for example they could be rescued from a Russian base, or by adding Aviradze and some sheikh and tamed animals as reinforcements.
  • 07: Instead of going back to the fight with the Russians, Heike takes care of the recently found Siberite. After all its destruction is the main goal.

The Epsilon mission can't be moved here, because it takes place after Kabul is destroyed. There might be a possibility of moving the whole research and it's dialogues to mission 11, but then there would be two main events (the Syberite and the discovery that the mercs have been cheated) appearing almost at once. Personally I think it's better to spread it out.
  • 08: Heike defends Kabul. It differs from Russian campaign in that she isn't recalled from the front lines (though some other forces could be, since Gensher was supposed to come as well).

The capture of Heike has it's own "video" and is a part of her whole character, so it can't be changed.
As for the siege, the Russian force has to be bigger than it is in Russian campaign because otherwise they would be defeated. Only alternative I can think of is replacing the enemy base with spawning attacks alone, but then the map would be empty most of the time which probably would be received as even more boring.
One other thing could be to arrange capturing of Heike differently, like that her soldiers made a deal with the Russians on their own, selling her out for their own safety.

So, what could be changed or added, to make the attack on Lenin base a bigger part of the campaign?
Do it!
