EDITOR - Waves

I have tried to add waves to my map... but unsuccessfully. Which colours have dots on the start of the "red line"? In my case, I have a "water" effect everywhere on the map (Units have foots under the water).
Please, who knows a faithful method, answer it in detail. Thanks.

Hi Morphid
Grndsc is broken because done GBI can not load.
So you cannot add waves to map.

AFAIK you can add waves. Stucuk wrote about this in this topic on OWS -

But how says Serpent, I can't load a GBI in grndsec =(..
Unless I would import bmp and *.wi file and after it bitmap with waves.. Will it function?

This is my steps (not function =D)
I export Water Heigh map.. the exported bmp I duplicate.
On the first of them (water anim) I do red lines (RGB: 255 0 0) with yellow dot (RGB: 255 255 0) and light blue water and other "white" parts of map I do in blue (RGB: 0 0 255)... (finally I have blue image with red lines and yellow dots) - In other cases editor report an error: Too many waves on the map!
The second of them is water heigh map... I import Water Anim Map and after it I import Water Heigh map... in the end I export Water Image as bin (water.wi)..
GBI
In grndsec I open my bmp with textures and import WI file... Click on Autopack and save as GBI to GroundBI folder in my mod. In editor I import gbi (>save, restart..). set waves requested to number higher than 0 and when I start the mission, editor(mission) doesn't work.
What is wrong?

You don't see waves?

No, I don't see waves

because If I set "waves requested" number higher than 0, atfer CTRL+E editor shutting down (and when "waves requested" is 0, waves are not visible)

Has anybody the "water_test" archive from OWS? It isn't there (file not found). Probably it would help me.

Ok. The problem was solved. I imported a color palette from "water test" and applied it to my image. Thanks all
